How to Create Custom Authentisign Layouts

This guide will walk you through the process of creating custom Authentisign layouts for your lease agreements. By following these steps, you can streamline your document signing process and ensure accurate and efficient completion.

Step 1: Access Authentisign

  • Open your web browser and navigate to the Authentisign website.

  • Sign in to your Authentisign account.

Step 2: Access Layouts

  • Click on the hamburger menu located at the top right of the page.

  • Select Layouts from the dropdown menu. You can also access the layout section by using the URL provided in the video description.

Step 3: Create a New Layout

  • Click on Add to start creating a new layout.

  • Provide a name for the layout, e.g., "Condo Lease". Click Save to proceed.

Step 4: Select a Document

  • Select the document you want to use for the layout. In this tutorial, we will use the "Lease Agreement Fast Offers" document.

Step 5: Define Signatories

Follow the steps below to place the initial and signature of the tenant and agent on the correct pages. The details are broken down in the tables:

  1. Click on Tools and identify "Tenant One" as the first signer.

  2. Drag the initial to the first page where it says "Initial of Tenants".

  3. Populate every single place that requires a tenant's initial or signature throughout the entire agreement under the "Tenant One" name.

Step 6: Move to the Broker Section

  1. Once you have completed the tenant section, move on to the cooperating broker section.

  2. Repeat steps 5.2 to 5.3 for the cooperating broker section.

  3. Remove any unnecessary dates by clicking on the trash can icon.

  4. Go through the entire agreement and place the initials and signatures exactly where they are supposed to go.

  5. Review the entire document to ensure all initials and signatures are correctly placed.

Step 7: Save Layout

  • Once you are satisfied with your layout, click on the save button located at the top right of the page.

Congratulations!

You have successfully created a custom layout for a condo lease agreement using Authentisign. This layout can now be applied to any Fast Offer agreement uploaded to Authentisign. The signatures and initials will be pre-populated exactly where you set them.
